Viber is now live on Type4Work
Viber joins WhatsApp, SMS, Messenger and web chat as a communication channel on Type4Work — so in the markets where Viber is everyday messaging, candidates can start a recruitment conversation without changing their habits.
Recruitment works better when candidates don’t have to change their habits just to start a conversation with a company.
That’s why Viber is now available as a new communication channel on Type4Work.
Why Viber?
For many of us, WhatsApp or web chat might be the obvious ways to start a conversation. But that’s not the case everywhere.
In several European markets, Viber is part of everyday communication for the majority of smartphone users. Monthly usage reaches:
| Market | Monthly usage |
|---|---|
| Bosnia and Herzegovina | 98% |
| Ukraine | 98% |
| Serbia | 97% |
| Montenegro | 96% |
| Bulgaria | 94% |
| Armenia | 93% |
| Greece | 91% |
| Slovenia | 88% |
| Belarus | 86% |
| North Macedonia | 85% |
And if that’s where people already communicate every day, it makes sense for recruitment conversations to be possible there too.
One more way to start the conversation
With Viber, candidates can now have their first interaction with a company directly through a channel that already feels familiar.
The experience itself stays the same. Candidates have a conversation where the company’s preset questions are covered, while they can also ask their own questions and get answers based on the information provided by the company.
Recruiters then get the information from that conversation in Type4Work and can decide whom they want to move forward with.
The only difference is where the conversation starts.
Built because our clients needed it
Viber wasn’t added because we wanted another channel on a feature list.
Our clients asked for it.
As Type4Work expands across different markets, we want the way candidates can start a conversation to reflect how people actually communicate in those markets.
Viber is one more step in that direction.
Viber is now live on Type4Work. And there’s more to come. :)
